Our first Interceptor MK II in Frisco Blue and black leather trim collected from the factory by my parents on 15th January 1971. Chassis Number 4021, registered SBR1 with a fabric sunroof. We kept the car for two years.

After 35 years of not seeing the car, l have tracked the car down to just 25 miles away from me. (car has not moved far over the years!)

Recently found this picture of the car in Normands Showroom in Bradford waiting for us to collect

Top right picture shows my father and mother with the car, second picture is me and my father, both taken in 1971 at Silsden Carnival.

Third down shows me and friend in Colwyn Bay where we went to school again in 1971.

A demonstrator Jensen SP that we were lent for 3 days to go away with in 1972, we did not like the way the ‘six pack’ came on so suddenly, it was much faster than our MKII.
